Service Area
We currently sweep and service chimneys in roughly a 21 m radius from Hitchin. If you are a little outside of this area then still contact us as we sometimes are able to fit you in, if we are working nearby.
Chimney Specialist In Your Area
Our most popular areas of 2024 were Hitchin, followed by Letchworth, Offley and Knebworth. The area north east of Hitchin is our busiest area. Other popular towns were; Baldock; Stevenage; Kings Walden; Arlesey; Kimpton, Henlow, Stotfold, Welwyn, Weston and Pirton.
Last year 65% of all the chimneys we cleaned were woodburners or multifuel stoves and 31% were open fires, many of which are unused. This is a big increase from 2023. The remaining were gas fires or oil boilers. As open fires burn less efficiently than wood burning stoves, especially the new Eco-design models, this means that the majority of our customers are now burning fuel more cleanly and efficiently than ever before.
